WEKA launches „connect business“

The new international web magazine addresses all aspects of the telecommunications industry – always pioneering at the forefront of innovation and technological development.

Munich, July 27, 2022. Today, WEKA MEDIA PUBLISHING GmbH (WEKA) has launched a new web magazine for the telecommunications industry: „connect business“. As the publishing house WEKA is becoming increasingly international, „connect business“ will serve as a platform featuring all relevant topics for the industry, today and in the future. This includes many aspects of digitization answering questions such as: Which technologies will deliver on the promise of 5G? Is 5G already ready for the masses? How can companies benefit from mobile private networks? How can we speed up the expansion of fiber optic connections in Germany? Where does Germany stand in international comparison and on the way to a gigabit society? What will the internet of the future look like? Do the new mitigation rules prove their worth? Is Open RAN and cloud computing on the rise? How can cars be connected to 5G? How much streaming can the market take? How well does fixed-mobile substitution work? How secure are mobile networks? Is the data catastrophe in the fixed network looming and how will high-speed Internet get to rural areas?

Dirk Waasen, Publishing Director of WEKA MEDIA PUBLISHING GmbH, says: „Telecommunications and connectivity are embarking on the most exciting journey of all time. Tactile Internet, the metaverse, robotics, machine to machine communication, cloud services, the Internet of Things and many other megatrends that are not yet recognizable today will completely turn our lives upside down – and improve them in many places. For connect, this is the dawn of a new era, which we will accompany on with „connect business“ – as of today.“

The first issue of „connect business“ mainly focuses on insights of this year’s connect conference – an exclusive networking event with international top-class speakers and representatives of the telecommunications industry. In the near future, readers will also find all mobile benchmark reports as well as the fixed-line benchmark reports connect carries out together with its long-time partner umlaut on an international scale.
