With subsidiaries already set up in the USA, Indonesia, Singapore and China, the company is now opening its sixth subsidiary in Bangalore in the southern Indian state of Karnataka. From here the company will be able to take care of the important Indian market even better than before.
Karben, March 2013: Continuing growth in the Asian markets has now prompted UNIFLEX Hydraulik GmbH to establish a new subsidiary in India. „With a population of over 8.4 million, Bangalore is the third largest city on the subcontinent and represents an important location for industry and IT which is already home to many other global companies“, explained Patrick Sticker, one of the executive directors of UNIFLEX who played a leading role in choosing the new location: „Business in the region is booming, especially in the aerospace industry and heavy manufacturing, and from here we will be able to provide optimum support to our customers throughout the country.“
With overall floorspace of 1,350 sq foot, the new subsidiary is made up of a showroom, offices and warehouses as well as a workshop area. „This will guarantee an even better service for our local customers, particular in the presentation of our products, in training, service and in terms of procurement lead times for spare parts „, Mr. Lim Thye Ann, General Manager UNIFLEX Asia Pacific gladly reported.
