The mental trainer Carola Riss-Tafilaj from Munich has developed a relaxation regime that is easy to learn, and, with regular practice, brings about a holistic feeling of wellbeing: all that is necessary is to apply the principle of tensing specific muscle groups before they are relaxed.
Munich, 22.07.2013 – Everyone knows and feels it. The fast pace of modern life strains not only our nerves, but also our muscles. Stress, the rush to get everything done, heavy physical work, just as well as lack of exercise during the work day can lead to very unpleasant tensions in the whole body. The consequences are: discomfort, aches and pains, problems with the intervertebral discs, with joints and nerves. But what can you do, when problems and stress have relentlessly become entrenched in the muscles?
An entrepreneur from Munich has devoted herself to this widespread problem area and developed a relaxation regime which enables the user to achieve full relaxation in every muscle group of the body with an easy, comfortable technique.
Using her CD, which contains an introduction, a beautiful, relaxing background sound and the detailed instructions, the listeners can put themselves into a state of deep relaxation. And the CD also provides the option to work with this relaxation technique in either the short or the long version.
„Progressive muscle relaxation is a scientifically approved method for releasing tensions“, says Carola Riss-Tafilaj , author of the CD-Project „Progressive Muscle Relaxation after E. Jacobson“ and managing director of Frequenzia Music World. „By means of concentration the users are taken on a little journey through their own body, in much the same way as in autogenic training. But in the process, the listeners are directed to deliberately focus on specific muscle groups in their body. These muscle groups are first tensed, then the tension is held for several seconds, and finally the tension is released. The basic aim here is that the users can develop a whole new body awareness so that they are sensitive both to the tensing up and letting go; they will thereby be able to feel themselves and their body with a deeper awareness in the future.“
This method is based on the procedure developed by the American physician and physiologist Edmund Jacobson, who discovered that the deliberate and mindful tensing and releasing of specific muscle groups is one of the most effective methods of relaxation.
„This is an ideal alternative to get to know yourself and your body in a new way“, says the mind trainer. „Also, the method is a further step in stimulating a lasting process of self-healing. You will notice that if you practice regularly, renewed tensions have little chance of establishing themselves“.
The CD “ Progressive Muscle Relaxation after E. Jacobson “ has a duration of over 60 minutes and will be available for sale from the 22.07.2013.
