Tichawa Vision receives ISO 9001:2008 certificate
Friedberg/Germany, 26 February 2013. Tichawa Vision GmbH, specialist in the manufacturing of high precision CIS – Contact Image Sensors for industrial product monitoring, has developed systematically in terms of organizational quality, customer satisfaction, job security and the efficient use of resources. This is officially acknowledged by the third surveillance audit according to the international quality standard ISO 9001:2008.
A clear quality-management structure is the foundation for a successful business management. A strategic management system based on continuous performance improvement sustainably increases the organization quality and the customer satisfaction. Furthermore, it ensures an efficient use of natural resources and optimally integrates employees into the company“s processes.

ISO 9001 – Plan, Do, Check and Act
The introduction of ISO 9001 has established essential characteristics for organizational quality in all sectors and for all sizes of companies as a worldwide standard. The four foundational pillars of the ISO 9001 standard are responsible leadership, resource management, product realization and measurement as well as analysis and improvement.
The implementation of the improvement cycle „Plan-Do-Check-Act“ is applicable to all companies.
Plan: Setting targets and environmental management programs
Do: Implementation of projects and activities in accordance with the planning
Check: Validation with regard to the achievement of nominal standards
Act: If the program does not function in accordance with theoretical values, corrections or preventive measures are to be made.
Leading in Contact Image Sensors
Tichawa Vision is the world leader in the field of contact image sensors (short CIS). CIS systems are used for industrial image processing for the purposes of surface inspections and quality control. The technology is known from its application in fax machines and flat bed scanners. Consisting of a scanning line, a lens and a light source, contact image sensors work with an imaging ratio of 1:1, meaning they have the same size as the template and are installed in a working distance of 8 to 14 millimeters above the target object.
