Due to the noise, for home and SMB use, such models not very suitable. But also in this area devises exist that can only provide full power when supplied with pure sine wave input current.

With the new PowerWalker VI-SW and VI-PSW models BlueWalker GmbH offers a series that makes the „Pure Sine Wave“ technology also available for home and SMB use. All models up to 1000VA are completely fan less and for 1500VA and 2000VA models the fan only runs under certain conditions.
This makes the UPS almost silent for most of the time and so can be used at home or in the office without disturbing.
