The numerous communication interfaces such as WLAN, 4G LTE, Bluetooth and GPS make the mobile RFID handheld a true multifunctional device.
HIGH PERFORMANCE COMBINED WITH THE LATEST TECHNOGOLY
The high-performance 4.000 mAh battery withstands a working day without any problems. The C2 ATEX is quickly recharged and ready for use again thanks to the USB-C connection and the quick charging function. Optionally, an 8.000 mAh battery may be ordered. The integrated Octa-Core MT6753 Processor, the large RAM of 2 GB and a storage capacity of 16 GB allows the device to meet the operational needs of demanding documentation processes. The C2 ATEX also features a MicroSD card slot for a memory expansion of up to 32 GB.
ROBUSTNESS AND SLEEK DESIGN
The RFID Handheld resembles a standard smartphone due to its slim dimensions and 5.0″ display. Thanks to the IP67 protection class, it easily withstands falls from a height of 1.2 meters and temperature environments of -20 °C to +60 °C.
APPLICATION EXAMPLE: MINING INDUSTRY
Mining, while a necessity, comes with may risks. To mitigate these risks mining companies require a robust communication system between above-ground and below-ground operations.
Thanks to the ATEX Class II certification, the C2 ATEX is suitable for such harsh environments. The C2 ATEX can withstand high dust concentrations and rockfalls in mining environments without any problems. The additionally integrated IP67 protection class provides double protection against splash water and dust particles.
The RFID handheld can be used underground with the integrated GPS function as a reliable positioning device. Thanks to the integrated 8 megapixel camera with LED flash, rock types and formations can be documented photographically. The retrievability of rocks can be guaranteed by means of robust transponders. The C2 ATEX can reliably identify and assign these using the RFID HF/NFC function. The communication between the underground workers and the above-ground employees can take place immediately using the 4G LTE and WLAN function. This ensures faster processing of the underground construction.
