Industrial Applications & Services and FRITZ & MACZIOL Asia succesful with VAS
Manila, 2nd July, 2012: FRITZ & MACZIOL Asia, Inc. in Manila was recently awarded with the implementation of FRITZ & Macziol“s dispatch and logistics solution VAS® in all four Holcim cement plants and in one Terminal in the Philippines. With this project, Holcim Philippines, the leading cement company in the Philippines, makes another significant step in the journey of continuous improvement of business operations through automation and integration. „With automated truck weighing process, we will be able to spend more time in value-adding processes and spend more time with our customers and business partners,“ said Holcim Philippines Logistics Head Rey Cervera.
The VAS® solution delivers seamless integration of logistical processes and their respective data with Holcim“s core IT system. This will lead to increased stability, reliability and efficiency of daily business operations in the logistics area of the plants. Furthermore will the improved integration and automation enable the logistics personnel of Holcim Philippines to spend less time with IT and focus on continuously monitoring business critical Health and Safety regulations.
