Launched in early January, the cooperation between the Hamburg-based distributor of visual communications technology and innovative network solutions and Crestron, market leader for intelligent conference room solutions, promises a successful knowledge fusion of Microsoft Lync and videoconferencing technology. The software solution enables audio and video conferencing, instant messaging, interactive white boarding and content sharing directly at the work place. Now Crestron RL brings Microsoft Lync from the work station to the conference room making efficient real time group work possible in any place, at any time. The collaboration solution distributed by eLink is fully integrated into the structure of Microsoft Lync combining Crestron hardware with Microsoft Lync software – without additional license fees, maintenance or hardware costs.
