Switching, dimming and easy controlling
Jena, 23 November 2012 – The LED specialist dilitronics has expanded its product range by three new DALI interfaces. The command-addressable interfaces serve to dim and call up light scenarios as well as integrate conventional electronic components into the DALI system. With the new components, users can now install a DALI system much easier.
With switchDOT and motionDOT, dilitronics now provides two different interfaces for easy integration of standard switches as well as motion detectors into DALI networks. In addition, the sceneDOT makes it possible to save and recall up to four different light scenarios. The receiving components are selected with a rotary switch. All interfaces are suited for indoor and outdoor application and powerthemselves via the DALI bus. Thanks to the multi-controller function, multiple modules can be applied jointly in a DALI network.
Small and compact
„Our interfaces are small enough to fit into the flush-mounting box. This way, almost all imaginable switches, motion sensors or relays can be used for installation, which meets individual customer requirements concerning a special design of the control elements“, states Stephan Schulz, CEO of dilitronics. Another advantage of the compact components: already installed control elements are upgraded to an addressable DALI switch this way.
switchDOT – switching and dimming
The switchDOT is equipped with four switch inputs, e.g. for connection of a double rocker switch. It sends switching and dimming commands to an individual DALI address, a DALI group as well as in the shape of a broadcast and allows the user to control individual lamps or a group of lamps directly.
motionDOT – integrating motion sensors
The motionDOT also transmits the switching signal of a motion or presence sensor to DALI groups or as a broadcast and integrates these standard sensors effortlessly into DALI networks. A standby level can also be preselected to which the receiver is dimmed down again once the switching signal of the motion sensor has expired. This allows comfortable and inexpensive installation of a basic security lighting system.
sceneDOT – saving light scenarios
The sceneDOT allows you to save up to four light scenarios. A long push of the button saves the current illumination scenario, and a brief push of the button calls it up again. In doing so, the sceneDOT sends its switching commands to a group of lamps or as a broadcast.
lite versions for fast installation
All interfaces are also available as lite versions. Programming is omitted here, because the commands are exclusively sent as broadcasts. This simplifies the configuration of the DALI system for circuits that are only supposed to address all available lights.
Easy and inexpensive installation of DALI systems dilitronics GmbH offers the devices installers require to be able to use the advantages of a DALI bus system easily and effectively. The portfolio comprises DALI-compatible LED drivers, lamps and the DALI bus infrastructure like bus supply device, interfaces to motion detectors, 1-10V dimmers and switches. dilitronics takes up the idea of an integrated approach to the illumination system. Even complex illumination applications can be very easily implemented with the dilitronics components and combined with the advantages of the DALI control.
The DALI components as well as further dilitronics products like LED drivers and LED lighting systems are now also available in the dilitronics online shop.
