Christian Martin New General Manager for Cisco Switzerland

Eric Waltert — Former GM of Cisco Switzerland — to Move on Into the Position of EMEA Leader of Collaboration in the Cisco Enterprise Business Group

(ddp direct) Christian Martin has more than 15 years of experience in the IT industry and is with Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO) since November 1998. During this time, he has worked as a manager for the Datacenter and Virtualization team and had previously been the Regional Sales Manager for the Enterprise Business in Switzerland. Christian Martin holds an Executive MBA degree in General Management.

Christian will lead the sixth largest market in Cisco European Markets which this year was ranked number one in the ‚Great Place to Work‘ award. He is replacing Eric Waltert, who becomes EMEA Leader of Collaboration in the Cisco Enterprise Business Group. Collaboration and Video are two of the five priorities for Cisco. Waltert will define a new and stronger position for Cisco in the Collaboration market by combining all of our Collaboration Solutions in EMEA under his Leadership.
