AIRTEC 2014: Trendsetter in new technologies and business driver for suppliers of aerospace industry!
Frankfurt/Main, July 7, 2014: The 9th AIRTEC takes place from 28 – 30 October 2014 at the Exhibition Center Frankfurt, Germany. AIRTEC 2014 will be opened on 28 October by the Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Economics, Ms Brigitte Zypries.
During three days, up to 500 exhibitors from 30 nations representing the whole supply chain of the aerospace industry will be showing their products and services to an international specialised audience from 45 nations. Amongst them, many market leaders and numerous SMEs from Europe, the United States and Asia will be represented. The most important product fields are design, engineering, materials (composites, metals, ceramic), production, electronics, sensors, testing, avionics, components, systems and life cycle support. In comparison to previous years, AIRTEC registers a growth in exhibitors of 80%. B2B-Meetings will be on the upturn as well. 10,000 B2B-Meetings are expected.
The trade fair will be accompanied by an international congress, consisting of seven international symposia for aeronautics: „Supply on the Wings“, space: „Space World“, sensors, testing, avionics: „Aerospace Sensors, Testing and Avionics“, unmanned aerial systems: „UAV World“, and helicopters: „Heli World“. The international aeronautics congress „Supply on the Wings“ will, amongst others, represent important topics such as Additive Manufacturing (3D), a technology with steadily growing importance for aerospace. This special session will feature top-class speakers from the international aerospace industry. Further highlights are the application of alternative fuel as well as future design and composites. Two summit meetings, „R&D Summit for „Future Aircraft Design“ and „Composites“ as well as „Global Supply Chain Management and Procurement Summit“ with purchasing managers and supply chain managers from the most important aircraft manufacturers and system suppliers round off the picture of AIRTEC 2014 as trendsetter for new technologies in the industry. This shows the uniqueness of AIRTEC as the world meeting point for suppliers, purchasers and technical experts on one trade fair venue. Establishing new contacts, entering project partnerships and networking with important decision makers and their teams – all this makes AIRTEC one of the most significant events of the industry.
Also in the international congress for aerospace, unmanned aerial systems, sensors, testing and avionics as well as for helicopters, AIRTEC 2014 excels with top-class speakers and future-oriented topics.
The main feature of AIRTEC is the B2B-Meetings, which start six weeks ahead of AIRTEC and which are organized via a B2B-matchmaking platform. The B2B-Meetings take place in intervals of 30 minutes at the exhibition booths. Thus, all exhibitors can arrange talks with purchasing managers, supply chain managers as well as people responsible for development and innovation, engineering and the relevant specialty departments of OEMs, engine manufacturer and system suppliers from all over the world in advance. All important manufacturers of aircrafts, helicopters and engines as well as system suppliers have already confirmed to take part in the B2B-Meetings. For exhibitors of AIRTEC 2014, this already means genuine success for new possible contacts to important purchasers and technologies of the industry.
The exhibition, the B2B-Meetings and the congress are closely linked and of high quality. This combination of a highly international trade exhibition with previously organized B2B-Meetings and an international top-class congress is distinctive for AIRTEC“s success. AIRTEC is trendsetter for new technologies as well as business driver for new business contacts and new project opportunities for suppliers of the aviation and aerospace industry, amongst them also numerous SMEs.
AIRTEC is rated by leading OEMs, engine manufacturers and system suppliers as well as exhibitors as one of the best aviation and aerospace B2B-Meeting events in the world.
