The Swabian machine builder gets the „Bosch Global Supplier Award“
Networked intelligence is an indispensable prerequisite for Bosch in meeting the demand for quality, cost and innovation. Cooperation with reliable suppliers is of particular importance. For excellent performance, Rehm Thermal Systems has recently awarded the „Bosch Global Supplier Award 2015“ in the „Indirect Purchasing“ category by the Robert Bosch GmbH. The Swabian machine builder has been supplying the Bosch Group with efficient thermal system solutions for 23 years, including reflow soldering systems, dryers and many special facilities. Overall, Bosch has awarded 58 suppliers from eleven countries.
The award ceremony on July 16, 2015 was held under the motto „Power of Partnership – Connected Intelligence“. With this award, Bosch recognizes outstanding performance in the production and delivery of products or services – in particular in the areas of quality, cost, logistics and innovation. „With the „Bosch Global Supplier Award“ we honor our best suppliers, who contribute significantly to the success of the Bosch“ said Dr. Volkmar Denner, Chairman of the Bosch board of management, at the award ceremony in Stuttgart. „When designing the networked world our suppliers are important partners. Together with them we want to develop use-generating solutions for our customers“. The Global Supplier Award was presented this year for the 14th time.
„For many years Bosch and Rehm have been developing a reliable and cooperative business relationship that has grown internationally and is now established worldwide. Together we have been able to realize many projects and interesting special solutions. Quality and service are an important foundation for a successful partnership for us. We thank Bosch for their trust and our employees for their commitment“, said Johannes Rehm, CEO of Rehm Thermal Systems.
