The Aebi Schmidt Group yesterday announced its takeover of the company DMi (Data Mining Innovators).

DMi develops and sells advanced technologies in the field of data acquisition and evaluation. The acquisition of DMi guarantees the Aebi Schmidt Group strong improvements in the information and telematics technology, as the systems and vehicles will be designed for optimum compatibility in the future. With DMi, as a company of the Aebi Schmidt Group, Aebi Schmidt confirm its position as a leading system provider of innovative technical products for cleaning and clearing of all traffic areas as well as mowing green spaces in particularly challenging terrain.

The company DMi was established in Wageningen, Netherlands, in 1997, and develops tools and web applications that are used for managing and maintaining the infrastructures of local municipalities, major commercial and industrial premises, airports and sports centres, such as golf courses, and in the area of gardening and landscape maintenance. The wide range of DMi diagnosis devices and analysis tools enable the determination of objective data for operational- and maintenance service. A full documentation of these actions not only serves the purpose of flawless quality assurance, but in the event of damage, it also protects against possible liability claims regarding the documentation of the traffic safety. Moreover, the gathered data also provide key knowledge regarding possible optimisations to operational- and maintenance services.

DMi has 19 employees and is now a leading company in the field of mobile data acquisition and evaluation in several European countries. DMi will remain an independent company within the Aebi Schmidt organisation and its independent market presence will continue. The existing DMi organisation will be maintained. The DMi products will be distributed into the markets by the local sales organizations of Aebi Schmidt.
