First alfabet planningIT eXchange conference held in New York:
Based on the increasing customer base, alfabet launched its first planningIT eXchange in New York. Over the past eight years the well-known IT planning conference and networking event, which uniquely brings together over 300 IT and business executives and industry analysts from around the world, was held in alfabet“s headquarters in Berlin. This year“s events in Berlin and NYC were themed „UNLOCK THE POWER OF THE IT PORTFOLIO“.
At the NYC conference, which attracted 100 IT and Business Executives, Bobby Cameron, Vice President of Forrester and Principal Analyst at Forrester Research, Inc., presented the customer-centric model of IT that some of the most successful companies in the world are deploying. Susan Green, Senior Vice President and Architecture Executive at Bank of America (a founding member of the Global CTO Council) shared how Bank of America is embracing IT transformation to stay nimble amid changing regulations, new customer engagement models and turmoil in the global market. Dr. Dieter Schacher, former CIO for Volkswagen, presented his experience in using IT to drive global business expansion in the increasingly complex automotive industry.
Forrester recognizes alfabet with the highest score on its current offering
Prior to the event alfabet was recognized as a Leader in Enterprise Architecture Management Suites (EAMS) by Forrester Research, Inc., in its April 2nd, 2013 report, „The Forrester WaveTM: EA Management Suites, Q2 2013“ written by Tim DeGennaro.
