Zenec EL Rear View Cameras - Easy to Install

Zenec’s new rear view cameras

A rear view camera can be so easy to retrofit: with the new vehicle-specific EL models, the multimedia and navigation specialist Zenec (http://www.Zenec.com/) now has a dozen very high quality cameras in its product range that can be installed in the car in no time time at all. The compact wide-angle cameras from the EL-line replace the factory-built module for license plate lighting – the assembly is therefore time-saving and simple: remove license plate light, install camera, run cable to the control unit, ready. The separable 3-part interface wire harness of 5.0 m length is fitted with waterproof connectors and facilitates the wire routing.
Zenec“s EL-cameras, developed for a variety of vehicles from VW, Skoda, Audi, Hyundai, Mercedes, Citroen, Peugeot, Nissan, Opel and Smart, integrate unobtrusively so that the original vehicle appearance is maintained. All models use the same lamps for license plate illumination as the target vehicle, depending on the car model either a light bulb or LEDs.
For the cameras of the EL line only the best components are used: these include high-end CMOS sensors that can detect even in badly-lit situations due to their high sensitivity. Due to the large horizontal field angle of 120°, even objects that are very close and/or are located at a shallow angle to the car are clearly shown. Parking and maneuvering are made even easier with distance guide lines that are integrated in the image.
High quality materials and robust construction guarantee high weather resistance and therefore a long service life. Thanks to the special camera housing – built according to protection class IP69K, the highest standard for contact, foreign bodies, water and moisture protection – all Zenec cameras are optimally protected against water and dust. Because of the broad operating temperature range from -20° C to +75° C, there is always a clear rear view – even under extreme temperature and weather conditions.
EL rear view cameras can be connected to any moniceiver, naviceiver or monitor with CVBS RCA video input. Naturally they can also be connected to Zenec“s multimedia navigations, including the vehicle-specific E>GO models.

The brand Zenec stands for pure in-car multimedia. Moniceivers, naviceivers, roof mount and universal monitors sum to a well rounded portfolio of in-car products. Added to that are accessory components like DVB-T/DAB+-tuners, rear view cameras and headphones. All Zenec devices are perfectly compatible with one another.
The Zenec multimedia range is perceived to follow the edge of technology, but also to stand out with an exceptional price/performance value. Yet, quality before quantity is the other important maxim given, Zenec is strictly adhering to.
In 2008, Zenec brought the first E>GO model onto the market, thereby immediately establishing a completely new category of device: the vehicle-specific naviceiver. E>GOs are a perfect fit – visually and technically – in the respective target vehicle, without additional bezels, adapters and hours of installation work. With the new line up 2013/2014 there are E>GOs to fit into over 60 models of vehicle.
Few car media brands have ever started out as successfully as Zenec. Today, Zenec has established itself as undisputed market leader for multimedia navigation and spots – according to the Association for Consumer Research (Gfk) – in the German speaking territories a market share in excess of 35%.
