Maneuvering and parking made easy – ZENEC’s new rear-view camera for recreational vehicles is easy to fit and flexible in use.

ZENEC ZE-RVSC200: Twin Lens Rear-view Camera for Motorhomes

ZENEC ZE-RVSC200: rear-view camera for motorhomes

Multimedia specialist ZENEC has added a new rear-view camera to its range of accessories. The ZE-RVSC200 has been specially developed for use in partially and fully integrated motorhomes. The practical features make this a convincing camera unit.
This very compact ZE-RVSC200 is designed as a twin lens model having two camera modules with different angles of view. In the upper part of the camera housing is Cam1 (45° horizontal angle of view), which primarily does the job of an interior rear view mirror. The lower camera lens Cam2 (100° horizontal angle of view is mainly intended for backing up. It records what is to the rear of the motorhome within a range of up to 5 meters, which can be individually set. Cam2 is supported by the built-in microphone and the IR-LED night illumination system.
ZENEC’s rear-view camera is equipped with sensitive CMOS sensors. Impressive for their low noise, they produce very high-contrast images. The high resolution – 680 x 512 pixels – and high light sensitivity of 0.5 lux enable an optimum image to be obtained even in poor light conditions. Cam2 has powerful night vision IR-LEDs with dynamic LDR brightness control. The area to the rear of the motorhome is illuminated well by the LEDs, for excellent visibility of objects in the dark.
Being a plastic injection molding, the housing of the ZE-RVSC200 is corrosion resistant. Together with the clever construction in accordance with protection rating IP69K, the use of high quality materials ensures high resistance to weather and a long service life.
Equipped with a fast-mount click attachment and a 3-part separable system cable with 17-meter main cable length, ZENEC’s rear-view camera offers a very flexible mounting arrangement. The ZE-RVSC200 set also comes with two special adapter cables. Motorhomes with factory routed DOMETIC/WAECO main system cable can be interfaced using the provided adaptors – avoiding the need to lay a new main cable.
The ZE-RVSC200 is compatible with all monitors and 2-DIN moniceivers and naviceivers having two camera inputs (RCA); devices with only one camera input will additionally need an optional camera switch.

The brand Zenec stands for pure in-car multimedia. Moniceivers, naviceivers, roof mount and universal monitors sum to a well rounded portfolio of in-car products. Added to that are accessory components like rear view cameras and headphones. All Zenec devices are perfectly compatible with one another.
The Zenec multimedia range is perceived to follow the edge of technology, but also to stand out with an exceptional price/performance value. Yet, quality before quantity is the other important maxim given, Zenec is strictly adhering to.
In 2008, Zenec brought the first E>GO model onto the market, thereby immediately establishing a completely new category of device: the vehicle-specific naviceiver. E>GOs are a perfect fit – visually and technically – in the respective target vehicle, without additional bezels, adapters and hours of installation work. With the new line up 2018 there are E>GOs to fit into over 60 models of vehicle.

Highlight – The ZENEC Z-E3756 Sat Nav for the Fiat Ducato

ZENEC’s new Z-E3756 navigation system is judged by the German Car & HiFi magazine (issue 4/2018) to be the perfect sat nav for all motorhomes based on the Fiat Ducato, Citroen Jumper and Peugeot Boxer.

Highlight - The ZENEC Z-E3756 Sat Nav for the Fiat Ducato

Highlight: the Z-E3756 sat nav for Fiat Ducato

Together with the Citroen Jumper and Peugeot Boxer, the Fiat Ducato is the most popular basic vehicle for motorhomes. With the Z-E3756 the Swiss multimedia specialist ZENEC has a new motorhome navitainer in its product range that integrates perfectly with vehicles based on this platform – technically and visually. The specialist magazine Car & HiFi has thoroughly tested ZENEC’s new camper sat nav in issue 4/2018 over three pages, and is enthusiastic. The testers rate the price/performance as outstanding, awarding the Z-E3756 the ‚Highlight‘ accolade in the ‚Top Class‘ category.

IDEAL CAMPER NAVICEIVER
The Z-E3756 scored with the testers on account of its navigation software being specially designed for camping vehicles. The new navigation engine knows its way around in 47 European countries and includes over 6.5 million Premium Points of Interest. Added to that is an impressively comprehensive camping POI database that offers „information on approx. 20,000 different camping and motorhome stopover sites in almost every European country“.
To make sure you are navigated only along routes suitable for your motorhome, the Z-E3756 gives you a choice of different vehicle profiles so you can enter data specific to your vehicle. „Important parameters like weight, height, length, width and so on can be individually set and then taken into account for selection of the route“, explain the tech journalists. „This eliminates nasty surprises such as bridges that are too low or narrow local through-roads.“ Also taken into account are the different speed limits and speed restrictions in European countries, which also contributes to a relaxed journey.

MOTORHOME SPECIALIST
As the new ZENEC is specifically built for use in the motorhome three cameras can be connected. In addition there is an audio channel for a microphone that is automatically activated on engaging the reverse gear. „But you don’t just see but also hear what is going on behind the vehicle“, explains Car & HiFi, „very practical if you want someone to stand there and help direct.“ The other camera inputs can be used for various other functions, for example as a front camera or as an aid when draining gray water.
The Z-E3756 has an integrated streaming module for transmitting music to external Bluetooth speakers. Audio functions are then controlled via an app from the Android smartphone. „That makes a lot of sense for a camper navigation system“, is the praise to be heard from the tech journalists. „You can then sit in comfort outside at a stopover site and still enjoy the full range of media features of the ZENEC.“

VERSATILE INFOTAINER
The comprehensive infotainment feature set of the Z-E3756 is thoroughly convincing: DAB+ digital radio, CD/DVD drive, Bluetooth, HDMI and two USB inputs ensure optimal entertainment and communication. Added to that is also the option to integrate Android smartphones using Android Auto so you can use compatible apps or online services and control them from the touchscreen of the navitainer.
„Whether during the journey or at a stopover boredom is therefore guaranteed not to arise“ is the resulting judgment of Car & HiFi on the media section, which also turned in a „faultless performance“ in the test lab: „Vanishingly low distortion and noise figures, solid power at the preamp outputs and linear frequency responses are positives to note.“

SUPERB SOUND
Special praise is reserved not only for the integrated DAB+ dual tuner which, according to the tech journalists, „indulges the listener with a crystal clear, noise-free sound and very stable reception“. The numerous audio functions – audio DSP, 10-band graphic EQ, active high- and low-pass filters and 24-bit D/A converter – also impress the testers: „The sound quality from all sources is very good, with the comprehensive setting options of the DSP also allowing high quality audio chains to be controlled.“

COMFORTABLE OPERATION
The tech journalists are particularly impressed by how easy the Z-E3756 is to use: „The capacitive 17.8 cm size touchscreen sits securely behind a glass surface. It reacts rapidly to the touch of a finger and provides a high level of brightness and good contrast for brilliant reproduction.“
At the same time the ease of use according to Car & HiFi is supported by the GUI design: „The clear menus are very nicely done with pleasingly large buttons. Using the controls is therefore safe even while driving.“

SUMMARY
„The ZENEC Z-E3756 is in all respects very well-thought out, and perfectly tailored to the needs and requirements of motorhome travelers“, is the final verdict of the testers, awarding ZENEC’s „perfect travel companion“ in the Fiat Ducato the ‚Highlight‘ accolade.

Smart 2-DIN Entertainer: ZENEC’s Z-N426 is Best Product

ZENEC’s new 2-DIN multimedia system with DAB+ impresses in a test conducted by the German Car & Hifi magazine (issue 01/2018)

Smart 2-DIN Entertainer: ZENEC

ZENEC Z-N426: modern 2-DIN infotainer

After the great success of the Z-N326, multimedia specialist ZENEC has now launched its next 2-DIN Smartlink infotainer, the Z-N426, additionally equipped with DAB+ and a larger 6.8″/17.3 cm monitor. The complete package of Z-N426 plus navigation software Z-N426-SDFEU obtainable separately has now been tested by Car & Hifi magazine in issue 01/2018, and awarded the „Best Product“ accolade. „The ZENEC Z-N426 is a big hit“, is the enthusiastic verdict of the trade journalists. „Superb range of features, use of phone apps per Smartlink, and excellent ease of use make it the benchmark in its price class.“

Modern app use via Smartphone
Like the Z-N326 the new ZENEC Z-N426 initially comes as a moniceiver without navigation software – retailing for as little as 600 euros. But even with this ‚basic version‘ you don’t have to do without navigation. While Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto support only a limited number of apps, with the Z-N426 any app – including the navigation apps of a connected cellphone – can be used on the screen of the ZENEC device. „This is made possible by the Smartlink function that allows smartphones to be very easily connected to the Z-N426“, enthuse the testers about the innovative possibilities of smartphone integration.

Europe-wide navigation made easy
However, if you want a fully integrated sat nav system for your car simply order the NextGen navigation software on a microSD card for 120 euros extra. With detailed maps for 47 European countries, more than 6 million points of interest, TMC, and free map updates for one year, this will give you the latest in-car navigation technology. „Navigation with ZENEC software is then very comfortable“, according to Car & Hifi. „3D rendering, 3D Auto-Zoom at crossings or roundabouts, and lane assistance with display of highway traffic signs ensure that you take the correct route even at rather complicated junctions.“

Full range of media features, ease of use
„The Z-N426 gets special praise for its above average range of features in this price class and great ease of use“, the testers go on to say. The ZENEC offers a double tuner that receives both analog FM broadcasts as well as digital radio DAB+. Phones can be connected via Bluetooth, HDMI, Wi-Fi, or using the double USB port at the rear. As you would expect, diverse media can also be connected via USB. For cameras there are two inputs, so front and rear cameras can be connected.
That ZENEC has also placed great importance on the ease of use of this system is also appropriately honored by the trade journalists of Car & Hifi: „The display is very easy to read, while the menus and individual screens are clearly laid out and look good. It is very pleasing to see how superbly fast the touchscreen reacts.“

Conclusion
„Both in our test lab as well as in field tests on the road the ZENEC performs outstandingly well“, is the conclusion reached by the testers. That ZENEC has achieved a big hit with the new 2-DIN system is confirmed by Car & Hifi, awarding the Z-N426 the „Best Product“ accolade in their final verdict.

The brand Zenec stands for pure in-car multimedia. Moniceivers, naviceivers, roof mount and universal monitors sum to a well rounded portfolio of in-car products. Added to that are accessory components like DAB+-tuners, rear view cameras and headphones. All Zenec devices are perfectly compatible with one another.

With the new line up 2017 there are E>GOs to fit into over 60 models of vehicle.
Few car media brands have ever started out as successfully as Zenec. Today, Zenec has established itself as undisputed market leader for multimedia navigation and spots – according to the Association for Consumer Research (Gfk) – in the German speaking territories a market share in excess of 35%.

Perfect Partner for Smartphones: the ZENEC Infotainer Z-N426

The new 2-DIN DAB+ moniceiver offers a varied entertainment program and enables the comprehensive use of cellphone functions in the car.

Perfect Partner for Smartphones: the ZENEC Infotainer Z-N426

ZENEC Z-N426: modern 2-DIN DAB+ infotainer

Communicate on the move, listen to radio, enjoy music – with the Z-N426 the Swiss multimedia specialist ZENEC now has another high performance infotainer in its product range. The Z-N426 offers modern entertainment functions, mature DAB+ receiver technology, excellent sound quality, and the greatest possible ease of use. But that’s not all: thanks to SmartLink Direct the Z-N426 enables comfortable integration and use of Android and iOS based smartphones.
But also for those looking for a versatile sat nav, the ZENEC is a clever solution: with the microSDHC card Z-N426-SDFEU available separately the Z-N426 can be expanded into a navigation system with a full range of features.

INNOVATIVE SMARTPHONE USE
Whereas Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto only support certain selected apps from Apple and Google, the Z-N426 goes a step further: thanks to Smartlink Direct every installed app can be presented on the display of the infotainer and used. Simply dock the cellphone, and the smartphone screen will be mirrored on the user interface of the Z-N426. In the case of Android based smartphones SmartLink Direct even enables direct control of the apps from the touchscreen of the Z-N426 – naturally also sat nav apps.

FIRST CLASS SAT NAV – EASY RETROFITS
If using smartphone sat nav apps is not enough, you can retrofit the Z-N426 to a high end naviceiver with the microSDHC card Z-N426-SDFEU available separately. With detailed maps for 47 European countries, more than 6 million points of interest, 3D Auto-Zoom for junctions and roundabouts, free map updates for one year and TMC function, getting the latest navigation technology in your car is thus straightforward and at a reasonable price.
The combination of Z-N426 and sat nav software package makes a perfectly matched functional unit with a number of advantages: for example, the playback of music during active route guidance, or the continuation of route guidance after short stops (refueling).

ENTERTAINMENT TO SATISFY THE HIGHEST DEMANDS
The Z-N426 is a top modern entertainer that impresses with its wide range of functions. Radio reception of outstanding sound quality – that is what the integrated DAB+ twin tuner is good for. It ensures noise-free, crystal clear listening enjoyment of the digital format, and scores with a dynamic station list, MOT Slideshow and DLS text. A high-sensitivity FM RDS tuner ensures outstanding analog radio reception – for example in areas where there is still no DAB broadcasting network.
The Z-N426 has two USB ports: these are not just for docking smartphones but also for playing a wide range of A/V formats from a USB medium.
The comprehensive Bluetooth unit ensures a hands-free system so there is no stress, simple management of contact favorites, and comfortable A2DP music streaming.

ERGONOMIC DESIGN FOR INTUITIVE OPERATION
The design of the Z-N426 has undergone all-round optimization to ensure one thing: driving safety. The screen size benefits from the most important functional elements being reduced to an ergonomic button bar that is used to control the Z-N426 during the journeyas required. A large capacitive 6.8″/17.3 cm TFT display with a high-gloss glass front ensures clarity and excellent contrast. Thanks to the intuitive user interface it can be safely used at any time.

ZENEC Z-E6150: Entertainer and sat nav for Toyota vehicles

It does not have to be a factory fitted sat nav – with the Z-E6150 ZENEC has now brought out a tailor-made navitainer for Toyota

ZENEC Z-E6150: Entertainer and sat nav for Toyota vehicles

Z-E6150: Infotainer for Toyota

Thought about retrofitting a tailor-made multimedia station in your Toyota so that you don’t have to do without modern entertainment during the journey? With the Z-E6150 from the E>GO Essential 2 series the Swiss multimedia specialist ZENEC has a state-of-the-art infotainer for Toyota in its product range: a system that integrates perfectly into the vehicle, that is an ideal entertainer, is easy to operate, and gives you an innovative smartphone interface. A system that can be expanded to become a full-fledged navitainer if desired.

Developed for diverse Toyota models
The design, button illumination, connectivity – everything about this E>GO is exactly matched to Toyota vehicles. The Z-E6150 has a variable RGB sensor button illumination in blue, white, red and green. Together with its high quality glass front it integrates seamlessly into the cockpit look. Without any additional interfaces it also supports the original multifunction steering wheel of compatible Toyota models – the Auris, Avensis, Camry, Celica, Corolla, GT86, Hilux, Previa, Estima, RAV4 and Yaris.

Every journey is a pleasure
ZENEC has long been well-known for the ease of use of its systems. In this respect the Z-E6150 is no exception. The E>GO is convincing in its high quality ‚reduced‘ design and clearly structured menus, which can be controlled completely intuitively from the large 6.8″/17.3 cm TFT capacitive touch screen.
Listening to radio has never been such a pleasure! This is because the Z-E6150 has an integrated DAB+ twin tuner for receiving digital radio of first class quality: while one tuner deals with the audio playback the second is constantly keeping the ensemble list updated with background scans.
Want to enjoy music like at home, or offer your passengers a high quality video? For media playback the Z-E6150 provides a CD/DVD drive and two USB ports, although the smartphone can also be used for the entertainment program.

Innovative smartphone integration
The Z-E6150 offers several options for using smartphones in the car in comfort – not just for making calls using the hands-free system or streaming music via Bluetooth. There is an HDMI input for connecting compatible smartphones and media devices to the E>GO to playback audio and screen content.
But that“s not all: the SmartLink Direct function allows you to connect your smartphone directly to the USB input of the Z-E6150. The screen content of your cellphone is then mirrored on the user interface of the ZENEC infotainer – the apps of Android smartphones can then be directly controlled from the touchscreen of the Z-E6150.

Upgradeable: from infotainer to naviceiver
If using smartphone sat nav apps for occasional navigation is not satisfying, for a reasonable price you can upgrade the Z-E6150 to a full function naviceiver with the Z-EMAP50 navigation package. Available as an option, this provides the latest ZENEC NextGen navigation software with 3D maps of 47 EU countries, more than 6.5 million points of interest, Lane Assist, and TMC – including free map updates for one year.
The combination of Z-E6150 and sat nav software package makes a perfectly matched functional unit with a number of advantages in practice: for example, the playback of music during active route guidance, or the continuation of route guidance after short stops (refueling).

Premium sat nav for the BMW 3 – ZENEC’s Z-E3215 MkII

Optimal in-vehicle integration, many multimedia and Bluetooth functions, and a top quality navigation system – market leader ZENEC unveils its new naviceiver for the BMW 3 Series.

Premium sat nav for the BMW 3 - ZENEC

Z-E3215 MkII sat nav for BMW 3

Premium navitainment for the premium marque from Munich – with the Z-E3215 MkII the Swiss firm ZENEC is launching a new touchscreen naviceiver for the BMW 3 Series. The Z-E3215 MkII, a facelift of the successful Z-E3215 awarded the „Best Product“ accolade by Car & Hifi magazine (03/2013), comes with new navigation software that provides very precise route guidance.
Like its predecessor, the Z-E3215 MkII allows optimal visual and technical integration in the BMW 3 Series and E9X vehicle models – interfacing with the steering wheel remote control, the BMW power system, and the Optical Parking System. The interface is of central importance for this E>GO model. But functions like the automatic CAN signal induced boot process, the Z-E3215 MkII is at least a nose long ahead of all the others. In addition, the Z-E3215 MkII stores the user settings internally, reloading them when the vehicle gets unlocked. Your Z-E3215 MkII naviceiver is therefore ready for use before you have even buckled yourself up.
The Z-E3215 MkII is an innovative media station, ideally equipped for playing digital media and A/V formats like MP3, WMA, Xvid and AVI. Zenec“s BMW navigation system has a USB hub for connecting three USB 2.0 sticks. An iPod/iPhone interface can be connected as well, obtainable separately.
Maximum comfort in handling phone calls is offered by the integrated Bluetooth unit from market leader Parrot. Via the user-independent voice recognition, it is easy to control call functions and access phonebook contacts directly by voice command; music streams can easily be played from the mobile phone via A2DP.
An innovative FM tuner with DSP ensures optimal radio reception, as well as a clear sound even under poor reception conditions and weak broadcasting stations, thanks to adaptive noise reduction.
The high resolution 6.2″/15.7 cm TFT LCD touchscreen display allows comfortable control of all functions. Large icons, logically structured user navigation, and the new clear menu design ensure that the BMW E>GO can be controlled intuitively and safely while driving.
In the Z-E3215 MkII infotainment features are combined with a modern navigation system. The EU map package with 47 countries navigates using the new ZENEC NextGen navigation engine, and contains over 6 million Premium points of interest. The device is supplied with one year map update subscription.

The brand Zenec stands for pure in-car multimedia. Moniceivers, naviceivers, roof mount and universal monitors sum to a well rounded portfolio of in-car products. Added to that are accessory components like DVB-T/DAB+-tuners, rear view cameras and headphones.
With the new line up 2013/2014 there are E>GOs to fit into over 60 models of vehicle.
Few car media brands have ever started out as successfully as Zenec. Today, Zenec has established itself as undisputed market leader for multimedia navigation and spots – according to the Association for Consumer Research (Gfk) – in the German speaking territories a market share in excess of 35%.

Digital Economy Award DEA.2016: And the winner is Deutschland

Deshalb lautet mein Fazit auch: And the winner is…

Kategorie „Kundenerlebnis“

1. Platz Business-to-Business: Hoesch Hohenlimburg (ThyssenKrupp)

1. Platz Business-to-Consumer: Roomle

A new sat nav with DAB+, Bluetooth and many future-oriented functions has the Swiss multimedia specialist now with the Z-N626 in its program.

Equipped for the Future - ZENEC

Z-N626 – Zenec’s new 2-DIN multimedia navigation system

A new generation of devices that will provide for state of the art navitainment in your car over many years is now being brought onto the market by the Swiss company ZENEC (http://www.zenec.com/), specialist in monitor sat nav systems: Thanks to future-oriented functions – multituner with DAB+, compatibility with all modern audio and video formats, DSP based speaker management system, and comprehensive update support for navigation maps and software – ZENEC’s new systems are well equipped for the future.
The model series kicks off with the Z-N626 naviceiver, an advanced allrounder, which fits easily in the 2-DIN slot of all vehicles.

Z-N626 – simple to install
Smart device design with rotary volume encoder, white illumination of touch buttons, and a modern 15.7 cm/6.2″ TFT LCD touchscreen display – the Z-N626 blends in with the look of any cockpit. But that“s not all: with a standard 2-DIN vehicle-specific mounting kit, the Z-N626 can also be integrated perfectly into the vehicle. Even for rare vehicle brand models, a stalk/CAN interface is available that enables the radio slot retrofit with a Z-N626.

Navigate with confidence
Travel stress-free throughout Europe – today, tomorrow and in the future: The EU map package with 44 countries and more than 10 million kilometers of roads navigates using the very latest ZENEC Primo NextGen navigation engine, and contains over 6 million Premium POIs. Detailed map data, 3D rendering of terrain and landmarks, display of TMC traffic events, Auto-Zoom, Lane Assist, and other Smart modes make ZENEC’s Z-N626 the ideally equipped route finder. Recently published map updates can be downloaded free of charge from the Internet for one year after starting to use the device.

Multituner system with DAB+ for digital radio enjoyment
The Z-N626 offers all the program variety of the new digital transmission standard DAB+ with superb comfort, and noise-free audio reproduction. Optimal radio reception is ensured by two FM/AM and two DAB+ tuners, which complement and support each other. The database supported dynamic background scan function keeps the radio list in check and you permanently up to date. A fifth RDS tuner takes care of the reception and processing of TMC traffic data.

Mobile entertainment, mobile communication
ZENEC’s new naviceiver provides a fascinating entertainment program – music and videos in best picture and sound quality are available from CD/DVD, USB, iPod, iPhone, or Smartphone. With the integrated Gracenote functions ‚More like this‘ and ‚Mood‘, playlists on USB media can be created from a music collection with just a single click. These are playlists based on a selected song, or on the actual mood.
Phonebook instant search, easy to edit favorites menu, music streaming, and many other features underscore the high level of the Parrot Bluetooth suite.

Powerful sound on the move
The Z-N626 is equipped with a 24-bit D/A converter that processes digital FLAC audio data from USB media with a resolution of 24 bits/192 kHz. For sound optimization there is a DSP based speaker management system with parametric 11-band equalizer and DSP presets for the different vehicle acoustics (compact car, sedan, SUV, etc.). With the channel based time alignment function, the acoustic sound staging can be tuned to perfection. Additionally, for simple sound adjustments there is a 3-band quick equalizer (bass/mid/high) menu for convenient independent adjustment of each audio source.

The brand Zenec stands for pure in-car multimedia. Moniceivers, naviceivers, roof mount and universal monitors sum to a well rounded portfolio of in-car products. Added to that are accessory components like DVB-T/DAB+-tuners, rear view cameras and headphones.
